Requirements
- – A Play Platform account with access to at least one workspace.
- – Claude (web, desktop or mobile) on a plan that allows adding connectors.
You do not need an API key. Access is granted through OAuth: you log into Play Platform, approve the connection, and the connector acts on your behalf with exactly the permissions your account already has.
- 01
Open the connector settings
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- 02
Paste the server URL
https://mcp.playyourbrand.com/mcp
- 03
Click Connect
Claude redirects you to Play Platform.
- 04
Log in and pick a workspace
Choose the workspace you want Claude to work with.
- 05
Approve the requested scopes
Claude returns to the chat, connected.
To disconnect, remove the connector in Claude. You can also revoke the session from Play Platform at any time.
Permissions
The connector requests two scopes:
- read:kami
- Read projects, accounts, contacts, quotes, invoices, tasks, briefings and media metadata.
- write:kami
- Create and update projects, accounts, tasks, expenses and briefings.
Your existing role still applies. The connector never widens what you can do: every call is authorised against the same permission system as the Play Platform web app. If your role cannot create projects, neither can Claude on your behalf. Tools you are not allowed to use are not even offered.
For the same reason, the list of available tools varies by account: it depends on your role, your workspace's plan, and whether your workspace is a production company or a brand workspace.

Data handling
- – The connector reads and writes only data in the Play Platform workspace you authorise, and only what your account can already reach.
- – Your Play Platform access token stays on our server. It is never sent to Claude or exposed to the model.
- – We do not collect conversation content, chat history or files beyond the arguments each tool needs to run.
- – Data is processed to serve your request and is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising.
Full policy: Privacy policy.
Troubleshooting
- "No tools available" after connecting.
- Your workspace plan may not include tool execution, or your role may not grant any of the tools above. Check with your workspace administrator.
- A tool returns a permissions error.
- The connector mirrors your Play Platform role. Ask an administrator to grant the matching permission.
- The connection stops working.
- Remove the connector in Claude and add it again to start a fresh OAuth session.
