Play for creative teams: the idea is not the bottleneck

What takes a creative team's time is not thinking: it is assembling briefs, chasing versions and translating contradictory feedback into concrete changes.

LITE plan free forever. The client and the team join without taking a licence.

Who this page is for

This page is for creative directors, copywriters and designers working in a brand, an agency or a production company. Play does not replace the creative work and does not claim to: what it does is give back the time that goes on the administrative half of the craft, which is more than anyone counts. Play has two pieces that work separately or together: Play Platform, where the brief arrives structured and the feedback arrives anchored to the second; and PLAY /Services, with creative direction of its own when capacity is needed. You can start free with the platform alone.

What steals a creative team's time

None of this is creative work, and all of it takes most of the week.

The brief arrives half-finished

A line in an email and a call. The objective, the audience, the channel and the date are missing, so the first proposal is made blind and the second is the one that really starts.

A structured brief with KAMI AI: formats, markets, dates and objective before starting.

The feedback does not say what to change

Comments like the pacing does not quite work, without saying at which second. Turning that into a concrete decision takes half a meeting and sometimes a whole version.

Videofeedback anchored to the exact second, with who said it and on which version.

The same idea gets defended four times

Each department reviews separately and each asks for something different. The piece gets sanded down until it no longer has the tension that made it work.

Every review in the same thread, against the objective written in the brief.

Time goes on hunting for material that already exists

Half a morning looking for a shot from the previous campaign across drives, emails and expired links. Often it ends up being filmed again.

A library with automatic AI tagging, searchable in seconds.

How Play works for a creative team

Play is a Production-Tech company: software and a production team in the same house. What it brings here is time, and capacity when it is needed.

Way 1

Platform only

You do the creative work and use Play so the brief arrives complete, the feedback arrives clear and the material is to hand.

  • Briefs, tasks and a production calendar
  • Media library with AI tagging
  • Videofeedback and approvals by version
  • Unlimited external collaborators

Free on the LITE plan

See Play Platform
Way 2

Production only, as and when you need it

You commission the execution when the idea is there and the team cannot stretch, or the creative direction when an outside eye is needed.

  • End-to-end production with an Account Manager
  • Creative, shooting and post-production
  • Local talent in whichever market it takes
  • A fixed quote per project

Per project, on a transparent rate card

See PLAY /Services
Way 3

Everything together, one partner

The platform is your system and our team joins as an extension, with the same brief and the same versions.

  • Everything in way 1 and way 2
  • Platform included at no cost with the services
  • Cost and status traceable in the same place
  • A flat production discount on the Enterprise plan

Platform included, production per project

Talk to the team

The three ways are doors into the same place, and you can move between them without migrating anything. Most teams start at way 1 or way 2 and end up at way 3 once the content volume grows.

Where the time comes back

Stage by stage, what stops being done by hand.

Stages of creative work and what changes with Play.
StageWhat usually happensHow it ends up
Receiving the briefAn incomplete request that has to be rebuilt by asking.A structured brief with objective, audience, channel and date.
ReferencesA loose board nobody looks at again.References inside the project, next to the brief that justifies them.
ConceptPresented in a meeting and decided verbally.Approved as a milestone, with its date and its version.
ProductionThe creative team becomes a producer without meaning to.Tasks, calendar and delivery queues with clear owners.
ReviewFour departments commenting through different channels. One thread per piece, with every comment anchored to its second.
CloseThe material scatters and the next campaign starts from zero.Everything tagged in the library, available for what comes next.

What you get from each part

What a creative team actually uses.

KAMI AI for the brief

It turns a loose request into a structured brief with objective, formats, markets and dates, which is where half the problems start.

Feedback anchored to the second

Comments sit on the frame, with author and version. No more translating an impression into a decision.

Approval by milestone

Concept, script and edit are approved as stages, with a history, so nobody reopens what was closed in the last round.

A searchable library

Material tagged with AI. Finding the shot from the previous campaign stops being half a morning.

Calendar and delivery queues

Who does what and by when, without the creative team having to chase it.

Unlimited external collaborators

The client, the production company and freelancers join without taking a licence, on every plan including the free one.

Creative direction

Narrative, script, key visuals and storyboards when an outside eye or more hands are needed.

Execution with local talent

Crews in more than 20 countries to shoot what has been thought up, without the creative team having to produce it.

Full post-production

Edit, colour, sound, motion and visual effects, plus hybrid AI production to scale variants.

Production consultancy

Which piece adds value and which is not needed, before the budget goes on producing it.

Brief to publication in four steps

The flow is the same whether you produce or we do. The only thing that changes is who carries out step 3.

  1. You say what you need

You open the project and describe the need. KAMI AI helps turn it into a structured brief, with formats, markets and dates, so that everyone is working from the same thing.

  2. You settle scope, cost and who does it

This is where you pick a way: your team produces it, your agency does, or PLAY /Services does with local talent. If you commission it from us, you get a fixed quote on a transparent rate card before anything starts.

  3. It gets produced and approved inside the platform

Shoot, edit and versions in the same project. Approvals happen through videofeedback and public links, with no email chains. If PLAY produces, your Account Manager oversees every stage.

  4. It is delivered, and it stays

The finished piece and the raw footage stay in your library, tagged and ready to reuse on the next campaign.

If you produce with us, the platform costs you nothing

Access to Play Platform is included at no cost with every PLAY video production service. In other words: you can come in through the platform door and pay only for the software, or come in through the production door and take the software with it.

Annual billing works out at 10 months. Extra storage at 29 €/TB per month. For a purely creative team, LITE covers the brief, the review and the library. PRO starts to pay off once the team also answers for the production budget and the cost has to be visible. See the full plan comparison.

Frequently asked questions about Play for creative teams

Does Play replace the creative team?

No, and it does not claim to. What it does is take away the administrative half of the craft: assembling briefs, chasing versions and translating ambiguous feedback. PLAY /Services brings creative direction when asked, as extra capacity rather than as a replacement.

Does Play's AI write the creative work?

No. KAMI AI structures briefs, organises projects and tags material. It works on the process, not on the idea.

How do I get feedback I can actually act on?

Through videofeedback on the piece itself: every comment is anchored to a specific second and a version, with an author. There is no more interpreting what somebody meant by the pacing not working.

Can I close the concept so it does not get reopened?

Milestones are approved with a date and a history, so you can point to when and by whom the concept was signed off. It does not stop somebody reopening it, but the conversation happens with evidence.

Does it work for external clients?

Yes. The client joins the workspace as an external collaborator, at no licence cost, and reviews on the piece. It is the same circuit for the internal team and for them.

Can I find material from earlier campaigns?

Yes, if it is in the library: it stays AI-tagged and searchable, so finding a shot from a year ago stops being a hunt through drives and emails.

How do I start?

Open a free LITE workspace and put the next piece in from the brief, with the client inside. The difference shows on the first review round.
