Is Play an alternative to Superside?

For video production, yes. Play has the two halves that make Superside attractive, platform and production team, but with a very different entry point: the platform is free on LITE and production is quoted per project. For design, illustration, UI/UX, 3D or AR, no: Play does not do that.
What does Superside cost?

Superside publishes a minimum of 15,000 $ a month on an annual contract, with a dedicated team from 30,000 $ a month on a 12-month commitment and a software fee of 1,000 $ a month included in the subscription. It also offers fixed-scope projects with a 15,000 $ minimum.
What does Play cost?

The platform: LITE free, PRO 149 € per workspace per month with 5 users included, custom Enterprise. Production is quoted per project on a transparent rate card based on real costs, and there is no monthly minimum and no annual commitment.
Can I use Play's platform without hiring production?

Yes, and it is the most practical difference. The LITE plan is free and works with your in-house team and your usual suppliers. Superside's platform is tied to the services subscription.
Does Play do graphic design?

No. Play does video production: consultancy, creative and creative direction for video, shooting and full post-production. Superside's creative catalogue is much broader and it has a clear advantage there.
Can Play shoot on location?

Yes. PLAY /Services activates local crews in more than 20 countries from a network of more than 1,200 vetted professionals, with permits, locations and logistics, coordinated by a single Account Manager.
Is there a minimum commitment with Play?

No. The platform is paid monthly or annually, your choice, and production goes per project. Annual billing works out at 10 months if you prefer that option, but it is not compulsory.
