Role / HR

Play for HR: a lot of video, little budget and your own people on camera

Recruitment, onboarding and internal comms generate more pieces than many campaigns. Play orders them, keeps the consent forms and leaves the material reusable.

LITE plan free forever, with 250 GB and unlimited external collaborators.

Who this page is for

This page is for people teams that produce video constantly without calling it production: job ads, onboarding, training, internal comms and culture. The volume is high, the budget small, and whoever appears on camera works for the company, with everything that implies for consent and for leavers. Play has two pieces that work separately or together: Play Platform, where that material lives classified with the releases inside the project; and PLAY /Services, the team that produces when it is needed. You can start free with the platform alone.

What holds a people team back

It is not a shortage of stories. It is that a lot gets produced, with no process, and every piece leaves a loose end.

Far more gets produced than anyone counts

One piece per vacancy, one per onboarding process, several for training and the internal comms ones. Added up they outnumber marketing's, but they get made with no budget and no process.

One place for all of them, with a calendar and cost per piece even on a small budget.

The consent forms live in another folder

The image releases from the people on camera end up in an email or a stray PDF. Reusing a take means checking first whether you can, and often nobody checks.

Agreements, rights and releases centralised on the project record, next to the material.

Somebody leaves and appears in five videos

Finding every piece they appear in, deciding what to withdraw and what to re-edit, is manual work nobody has planned for.

An AI-tagged, searchable library, to locate in minutes where each person appears.

The material gets repeated in every office

Each site films its own welcome video and its own training on the same subject, because nobody knows what already exists in the others.

A library shared across sites, with what already exists visible before anything is commissioned.

How Play works for HR

Play is a Production-Tech company: software and a production team in the same house. Here the first step is usually ordering the volume that already exists.

Way 1

Platform only

You film yourselves or with a freelancer you trust, and use Play so it all stays classified, with the releases inside and reusable across sites.

  • Briefs, tasks and a production calendar
  • Media library with AI tagging
  • Videofeedback and approvals by version
  • Unlimited external collaborators

Free on the LITE plan

See Play Platform
Way 2

Production only, as and when you need it

You commission the pieces that deserve a professional finish, like the recruitment video or the culture campaign, on a fixed quote.

  • End-to-end production with an Account Manager
  • Creative, shooting and post-production
  • Local talent in whichever market it takes
  • A fixed quote per project

Per project, on a transparent rate card

See PLAY /Services
Way 3

Everything together, one partner

The platform is the people team's content system and our team produces inside it when it is needed.

  • Everything in way 1 and way 2
  • Platform included at no cost with the services
  • Cost and status traceable in the same place
  • A flat production discount on the Enterprise plan

Platform included, production per project

Talk to the team

The three ways are doors into the same place, and you can move between them without migrating anything. Most teams start at way 1 or way 2 and end up at way 3 once the content volume grows.

What a people team produces with Play

The formats that come up again and again in HR, and how each one gets made.

Common formats in HR and how they get made with Play.
FormatWhat HR uses it forHow PLAY /Services makes it
Employer brandingAttracting people in a market where everyone competes for the same ones.An office shoot with creative direction and cutdowns for social and job ads.
Video per vacancyExplaining a specific role better than a text description.Short pieces on a common base, updatable per vacancy.
OnboardingGetting a new joiner through their first week without depending on anyone.Short modules per topic, reusable and updatable one at a time.
Internal trainingGetting a procedure to every site in the same form.Filmed in modules, with versions per country or per language.
Internal commsResults, organisational changes and messages from the board.A light shoot and a fast edit, with a consistent finish.
Internal eventsCovering gatherings and cutting them down for internal channels.A local crew, upload to the workspace and delivery piece by piece.

What you get from each part

This is what a people team actually uses.

Rights and releases in the project

The consent from the people on camera lives next to the material it refers to, not in another folder.

A library searchable by person

Material tagged with AI, to locate in minutes which pieces somebody appears in when they leave the company.

A library shared across sites

Before filming a training piece you can check whether another office has already made it, which is where most work gets duplicated.

Approvals with the board and legal

Comments on the piece itself, by version and with an author, rather than three parallel email rounds.

Role-based permissions

Internal material that should not leave the workspace, with expiring review links for anyone coming from outside.

Cost per piece

Budget and spend inside the project, so you can show how much content the team produces on what little it has.

Light office shoots

Small, agile crews, built not to stop the operation while filming.

Production across sites

Local talent in more than 20 countries, to film in each office without arranging trips or finding a supplier per city.

Post-production and versions

Edit, motion and subtitles, plus hybrid AI production to get languages and durations out of one recording.

Creative direction for recruitment

A script and a narrative that sound like the actual company, which is what separates a recruitment piece from a generic ad.

Brief to publication in four steps

The flow is the same whether you produce or we do. The only thing that changes is who carries out step 3.

  1. You say what you need

You open the project and describe the need. KAMI AI helps turn it into a structured brief, with formats, markets and dates, so that everyone is working from the same thing.

  2. You settle scope, cost and who does it

This is where you pick a way: your team produces it, your agency does, or PLAY /Services does with local talent. If you commission it from us, you get a fixed quote on a transparent rate card before anything starts.

  3. It gets produced and approved inside the platform

Shoot, edit and versions in the same project. Approvals happen through videofeedback and public links, with no email chains. If PLAY produces, your Account Manager oversees every stage.

  4. It is delivered, and it stays

The finished piece and the raw footage stay in your library, tagged and ready to reuse on the next campaign.

What it costs

There are two costs and they are independent. The platform is paid per workspace, not per person. Production is quoted per project.

If you produce with us, the platform costs you nothing

Access to Play Platform is included at no cost with every PLAY video production service. In other words: you can come in through the platform door and pay only for the software, or come in through the production door and take the software with it.

Annual billing works out at 10 months. Extra storage at 29 €/TB per month. In HR, LITE usually lasts longer than you would expect, because the volume is high but the files are light. The jump to PRO comes once several sites are producing at once and you need to see what is being duplicated. See the full plan comparison.

Frequently asked questions about Play for HR

Where are the image releases kept?

On the project record, next to the material they refer to. That is what saves hunting for the PDF in another folder before reusing a take.

What do I do if somebody who appears in several videos leaves?

The library is AI-tagged and searchable, so finding which pieces they appear in stops being a manual review. From there you decide what to withdraw and what to re-edit.

Does it work across several sites?

Yes, and that is where it shows most. The library is shared, so before filming a training piece or a welcome video you can check whether another office has already made it.

Can I control which material never leaves the workspace?

Yes, with role-based permissions. Internal material stays inside, and anyone coming from outside gets in through expiring review links.

Can I use it without hiring production?

Yes. The LITE plan is free and works with your team or with a freelancer you trust. Production is optional and quoted per project.

Can you film in our offices in other countries?

Yes. PLAY /Services activates local crews in more than 20 countries, so each site gets filmed without arranging trips or finding a supplier per city.

How do I start?

Open a free LITE workspace and upload what the sites have already filmed. Seeing the full inventory is usually enough to stop the duplication.
